Description
This is a lovely Victorian silver topped 14k rose cut diamond bird brooch.
The birds body is encrusted with K-L color, SI-I clarity, old rose cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carat total. The bird has a 2 mm round cabochon ruby eye and is standing on a stick with a pearl terminus.
The pin is unmarked, but tests 14k. The silver topping beneath the diamonds is tarnished appropriately for its age.
It weighs 7.942 grams and measures 1.9″ by 1.25″
