Description
This is a very sparkly estate 18k tsavorite and diamond lizard brooch.
The center of the lizard’s body is encrusted with green tsavorite garnets and diamonds along the sides and down each leg. It has round cabochon ruby eyes and is finished with a pin stem clasp. The strong green tsavorites weigh approximately 2.48 total carats, and the G-L color, SI-I clarity, old European cut and single cut diamonds weigh approximately 1.23 total carats. The ruby cabochons weigh approximately .10 total carats.
The brooch is unmarked but tests 18k. It measures 1″ by 2.75″ and weighs 11.462 grams.
Very good estate condition. Original patina has not beeen removed.
