Description
This is a very pretty Victorian horseshoe brooch. The diamonds are set in a platinum frame that is on top of an 18k gold frame.
The brooch has a single locking pin stem and is unmarked commensurate with its age. The 23 Old European cut diamonds have a total estimated weight of 1.65 carats.
It is 1.1 by 1.0 inches and weighs 5.07 grams. The horseshoe measures 3 mm wide at the tips and graduates up to 4 mm wide in the center and is 3.25 mm to 4.25 mm deep.
Circa 1900.
Good Estate Condition. I’m not sure, but there may have been a repair at some point in time.
