Description
This is a beautiful Victorian pendant with extremely brilliant diamonds complimenting scrolled elements with black enamel detailing.
The center round brilliant diamond weighs an estimated .81 carat and is H color, SI1 clarity. The surrounding six round brilliant cut diamonds weigh an estimated 1.26 total carats and are G-H color and VS-SI clarity. The remaining 54 accent diamonds weigh an estimated 1.04 total carats and are G-H color and VS-SI clarity. The estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.11 carats.
The brooch is stamped 14k and has a single pin stem with a hinged bail for pendant wear. It is 1 7/8 inches in diameter and weighs 9.1 grams.
It is in good condition with very minor enamel loss visible under magnification. Circa 1900.
