This is a gorgeous high relief carved shell cameo depicting the profile of a lady with roses in here hair and a pearl necklace. The frame has a rope border.
This pin has a ‘C’ clasp and is unmarked as expected for its age. Circa 1850’s.
Measures 1 11/18 by 1 1/4 inches and weighs 9.2 grams.
Very good estate condition. Patina has not been removed.
