Description
This is a very unusual banded onyx and Akoya pearl brooch. It has loops on each side that appear to be for adding 4 strands of pearls making this brooch the focal point of a necklace.
It is stamped 14k. It appears to be a marriage of a very old banded agate and pearl assembly with a new custom made mounting.
Measures 1.5 by 1.6 inchs and weighs 15.9 grams.
Original patina has not been removed. Good estate condition.
